“Don’t Cry For Me – My Yeshiva” is the powerful, funny and deeply personal story of Joe Fox – a gay man who spends a lifetime trying to reconcile his faith with his sexuality. An adoptee searching for the missing pieces of his past.
It’s a story of discovering that the road to authenticity takes us to the most unexpected of places. Of how reaching across seemingly insurmountable divides can lead to a deeper understanding of ourselves and one another.
Some song. No dance. And a dash of rainbow connection romance.And for three months – I tried to play it straight in the Lobster State. (No picnic: just sayin’!)
